“Bezalel, Oholiab, and all the other workers know how to make the sacred Tent just as the Lord had commanded.” They received from Moses all the offerings that the Israelites had brought for constructing the sacred Tent. The skilled men told Moses that they had more than enough to finish all the work, so Moses sent word throughout the camp that no one was to make any more contributions for the sacred Tent.
The most skilled men among them made the Tent of the Lord’s presence. They made it out of ten pieces of fine linen woven with blue, purple, and red wool and embroidered with figures of winged creatures. Then they made a same-size cover for the Tent made of goats’ hair, two more covers for outer cover, one of rams’ skin dyed red and the other of fine leather, 15 feet high and 27 inches wide upright frames made of acacia wood, covered with gold, and fitted with gold rings to hold the crossbars, which were also covered with gold, 20 frames each for the north and south sides, 6 frames for the west side and 2 frames for the corners, 15 crossbars of acacia wood covered with gold, a curtain of fine linen woven with blue, purple and red wool embroidered with figures of winged creatures, and acacia wood posts for the curtain.
