The Lord told Moses, “Tell the Israelites to make an offering to me. Receive whatever offering anyone wishes to give. These offerings are: gold, silver, and bronze; fine linen; wool; cloth made of goats’ hair; rams’ skin dyed red; fine leather; acacia wood; oil for the lamps; spices for the anointing oil and sweet incense; carnelians and other jewels to be set in the ephod of the High Priest and in his breastpiece. The people must make a sacred Tent for Me according to the plan that I will show you, so that I may live among them.”
“Make a box out of acacia wood; 45 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high. Cover it with pure gold inside and out. Make carrying poles of acacia wood and cover them with pure gold and put them through the rings on each side. The poles are to be left in the rings and must not be taken out. Put the two stone tablets inside the box that I will give you and put the pure gold lid with two winged creatures hammered on the top of it.“
“Make a table out of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide and 27 inches high. Cover it with pure gold and put a gold border around it. Make the poles gold with acacia wood. Make four rings of gold at its corners that are at its four legs. The rings will be close to the frame as pole holders that are at the table. Make pure gold out of plates, cups, jars and bowls to be used for wine offerings. The table must be placed in front of the covenant box, and on the table there will be the sacred bread offered to Me.” “Make seven lamps for the lampstand with its tongs, trays and decorative flowers of pure gold so that they shine towards the front. Use 75 pounds of pure gold to make the lampstand with its equipment. Take care of these things according to My plan which I showed you on the mountain.”
Make a lampstand of pure gold. Design its base with a shaft of hammered gold; its flowers with their buds and petals shall be made of one piece. All the six branches will extend, one from each side. Each of the six branches need to have three decorative flowers shaped like almond blossoms with their buds and petals. The lampstand’s shaft needs four decorative flowers shaped like almond blossoms with their buds and petals as well. There will be one bud below each of the three separate branches. The buds, branches and lampstand will be a single piece of pure and hammered gold. Set up seven lamps for the lampstand so that they will shine a light toward the front. Its tongs and trays shall be of pure gold also. 75 pounds of pure gold will be enough to design the lampstand and the equipment. Take care of them according to the plan that I showed you on the mountain.”
